  • Myanmar families, children, and people gathered for a Church service
  • A group of Myanmar kids recreating the nativity scene

  • Photo of the gospel being preached as a skit with puppets to a huge group of Myanmar children and families from behind the puppet curtain

Again this year we will assist layworkers in Myanmar to
attend Theological Training in Thailand and to assist them in
bringing the Good News of Jesus to children and families.
The civil war continues in Myanmar bringing fear, loss, and
trauma to families. In 2025 an earthquake also brought its
own form of destruction, leaving many homeless.

Myanmar is a struggling nation, experiencing brutal crimes
and repression throughout the country. Only 6% of the
population is Christian, with 88% Buddhist. Christians are
persecuted and some have been imprisoned for their faith,
so holding Gospel events is a dangerous undertaking. Yet
there is great need to bring God’s Word to these people.

Lay worker Thomas Thwin has sent his sincere thanks for
the 2025 help they received and for the 2026 project as well.
They will be holding three children’s Bible Camps in April,
expecting about 130 children for each. He wrote,
“Organizing Bible camps in these times of violence,
instability, and scarcity is extremely challenging, but stopping
is not an option for us. These children desperately need to
hear that God has not forgotten them. This is a critical
moment to bring God’s Word, comfort, and hope to these
children. Please stand with us in prayer and support as the
Lord leads.”

I want to support ministry in Myanmar.
