Gifting Life Insurance is a wonderful way to leverage the value of premium payments in order to make a larger “estate” gift. Donors can either list CLMS as the beneficiary of a policy, or they can transfer ownership of a policy to CLMS, while still paying the premiums. As the premiums are then considered a gift, the donor receives a charitable receipt, effectively dropping the premium cost by close to 50%.
