Men coming to Canada from India, Africa, Central America, and Madagascar want to share their Christian faith with, and serve their cultural communities. Each is enrolled in Lutheran Church – Canada’s Pastors with Alternate Training (PAT) program where they learn God’s Word, Lutheran theology and practical ways to share the Good News. Each studies with a mentor, however a national conference allows them to study together and learn from each other. The goal is to bring the love of Christ into their own cultural context and communities.
This project assists the PAT program students with books and teaching resources, seminars, travel and a small stipend.
