Thanks to our donors, this project is being funded in 2021 with donations from 2020 that went unused due to COVID-19 impacts. Additional donations are not required at this time.

Mission and Ministry to Kokkloi, Thailand

Since 1989 Lutheran Church–Canada (LCC) has supported mission work in Thailand and most recently this has been through Pastor Suchart Chujit. Pastor Chujit works hard to make the most of what he has, and sells rubber to supplement the modest support that LCC provides. His health has been compromised by two accidents and he is working hard to train leaders despite slow support from Thailand Concordia Lutheran Church.

I want to support Pastor Chujit in Thailand.

Theological Training for New Church Workers, Thailand

Three young deacons are currently assisting the pastors of Thailand Concordia Lutheran Church (TCLC) and have requested formal seminary training to become pastors and further expand the ministry in the south of Thailand. TCLC is requesting LCC to assist them with quarterly short-term theological courses in the south for the next four years. LCC’s international missions executive will arrange an instructor for two of the four seminars and the other two courses will be taught by one of the pastors of TCLC.

I want to support seminary training for pastoral candidates in South Thailand.

Pastor Suchat Chujit

Pastor Suchat Chujit (left) prays before leading Bible study.

Pastor Chujit, his wife Aporn, and a few congregational leaders share the Gospel as best they can in south Thailand’s Phang-nga province. Pastor Chujit sells rubber and pineapples in his spare time to make extra money to survive but it’s not enough. Supporting this project will help Pastor Chujit and his family with the mission and ministry work in South Thailand.

Support a missionary in Thailand

1422How do you share the Gospel in a country where less than 2 percent of the population has any connection or knowledge of Christianity? That’s the challenge Missionary Suchat Chujit faces daily in his missionary work in the southern province of Thailand in the region of Takuapa and Phang-nga province. As Pastor Chujit provides ministry for his local congregations he continues reaching out to individuals and families in the area, building contacts for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and starting home Bible studies and worship services.

This project helps provide the stipends, utilities, transportation, telephone and worship materials for the three congregations and other preaching stations under missionary Chujit’s care.

I want to help support the ongoing ministry and outreach of Pastor Chujit.
